News & Events for the period:
1st September 2006 - 31st December 2006

  • Merry Christmas everyone!
    It has been another very busy term with class assemblies, church services, Children in Need fund raiser, PFTA events, arts day and our Christmas Production. Look out for our Y6 radio broadcast as well as our winning Christmas plate designers.

    We would like to welcome our new Deputy Headteacher, Mr David Hurdman who will be joining us in January as well as Mrs Broomfield who has joined the governing body.

    Thank you to all the staff, PFTA, Governors and Children who have worked so hard this term, please come and join in the festivities with the Carol Service on 20 th December at 1.30pm at the church.

    As usual we have many exciting events planned for the future including the grand opening of the Foundation Stage Play Area, so please keep up to date by viewing our monthly newsletters.

  • Friday 1st December 2006- PFTA Christmas Fayre
  • Thursday 30th November - Y2 Class Assembly 8:55am
  • Tuesday 21st November - Y1 Class Assembly 8:55am
  • Thursday 16th November - Y3 Class Assembly 8:55am
  • Wednesday 15th November - Family Portrait Evening. Please come along between 5pm and 7pm to have your family photo taken. Prices range from £8-£18.
  • Thursday 9th November - Y6 Class Assembly 8:55am
  • Thursday 2nd November 2006- Term 2 starts. All saints service in Church at 2.00pm, parents welcome!
  • Wednesday 1st November 2006- INSET day for teachers, school closed
  • Thursday 12th October 2006 - Wrates photographer in school
  • 10th October - 7th December 2006 - Each class is to lead an assembly each full term this year to which we would like to invite parents of children in that class.  The dates for this Term's (Term 1 & 2) assemblies are included below. We look forward to seeing Parents at the Class Assemblies and Church services.

  • 3rd October 2006 - PFTA Fashion Show– 7 p.m. for 7.30 p.m. start - in school - tickets cost £2 which includes a drink.  There will also be a raffle
  • 29th September 2006 - Harvest Festival 29th September at 9.30 a.m. in Burgh Church
  • 13th September 2006 - Now that the new school term has started I would like to take the opportunity to thank the staff, parents and children for welcoming me as the new headteacher at St Peter and St Pauls CE Primary School.  I am very much looking forward to meeting more of the parents as I settle into school.

    We would also like to welcome the new reception children to our school as well as Mr Greenhalgh to the governing body.  The whole school staff  have been reviewing our school aims and values which can be viewed online in policies.

  • 5th September 2006 - The school would like to welcome Miss S Smith as the new Headteacher.
