HeadTeacher -
Miss Smith BA(QTS)Hons CPSE(SEN) NPQH
I have a combined honours degree from St Mary's University College , College of Surrey, in Education and Geography. Since becoming a teacher in 1994 I have taught in Lincolnshire schools across the primary age range with various subject responsibilities including SENCo and gained a CPSE qualification in Special Educational Needs. I have been both a Key Stage One and Key Stage Two co-ordinator in my previous schools. More recently I have been deputy headteacher and successfully completed my headship NPQH qualification.As well as Headteacher I am the Literacy and French Co-ordinator.
Reception Class - Miss K. Holmes BSc
I trained at Ripon & York St John and I graduated with QTS (qualified Teacher Status) with a degree in Environmental & Biological Sciences At Burgh-le-Marsh Primary I am responsible for leading Science, Foundation Stage and R.E. Recently I have been acting as the assessment leader alongside Miss Smith.

Year 1 - Mr. M. Elliott BSc (Hons)
After completing my A-levels in Louth, I studied Geography at the University of Hertfordshire for four years, with one year studying in Quebec, Canada. Then went on to gain PGCE at Norwich University. I have since worked at Layston First School in Hertfordshire where I was Year 3 teacher and numeracy co-ordinator before returning to Lincolnshire. I joined Lincoln Minster Preparatory School as Year 4/5 teacher for one year while studying for an MA in education at Bishop Grosseteste. I am very pleased to be joining the staff at St Peter & S Paul Primary and looking forward to my time at the school.
Year 2 - Miss. D. Leetham B.A.(Hons)
Having gained a degree at Sheffield Hallam University, I went to Bishop Grossetestte College in Lincoln to do my P.G.C.E. I came to Burgh School as a N.Q.T. and have been teaching in Year 2 since then. I am now PE. subject leader and the Co-ordinator of Special Educational Needs (SENCo).
Year 3 - Mrs. L. Arnold Cert. Ed
I have gained my teaching certificate in 1976 after attending Totley College in Sheffield. I taught in Sheffield from 1976 to 2001. Since becoming a teacher I have taught all year groups up to Year 6 and my last post in Sheffield before coming to Lincolnshire was Head of Nursery. At Burgh I am the subject leader for Art, DT and have shared responsibility for PSHE.
Year 4 - Miss L. Millman B.A (Hons) QTS
I did a 4 year degree at Bishop Grosseteste College in Teaching and History. I then worked at Knebworth Primary for a year in Year One. I also did a years supply in schools around Lincolnshire before starting here in September 2005. I am the History and Geography co-ordinator, with shared responsibility for PSHE.
Year 5 - Miss A. Horton B.A (Hons)
After studying for my degree in English and History at De Montfort University I completed my PGCE at Bishop Grossesteste College in Lincoln. In addition to teaching Year 5 I am the subject leader for Science and Multicultural Education. I lead the school council and am the teacher gocernor on the governing body.
Year 6 / Deputy Headteacher – Mr David Hurdman BSc, PGCE
After starting my own education in the local area, events have come full circle as I am now Deputy Headteacher at St. Peter and St. Paul CE Primary School. Following my secondary education in Skegness, in 2000 I graduated from the University of Warwick with a Mathematics degree. I then completed a PGCE at Bishop Grossteste College in Lincoln. At my previous school I was a member of the Senior Leadership Team, holding the post of Key Stage 2 co-ordinator and, most recently, Acting Deputy Headteacher. I have taught in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and am currently on Lincolnshire's Leading Maths Teacher team. I am subject leader for ICT and Numeracy.
